absenteeism

i forgot to mention that on saturday evening, when we were talking about our wonderland plans with the roomie, bwong, and J, the roomie (who is a HUGE rollercoaster/wonderland fan) asked us if we were going to go on "the bohemian." this resulted in hilarious speculation about what a rollercoaster called "the bohemian" could possibly entail. we guessed stuff like, as the car rolls by, people cut holes in your clothes, as you enter a dark tunnel, a crouching figure descends from the ceiling and starts reading "howl."
hi-larious.

for dinner tonight i made an eggplant, tomato, and basil pasta. with an italian "chopped" salad consisting of: red leaf lettuce, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, olives, cubes of buffalo mozzarella, and strips of hot genoa salami - all dressed in a red wine vinaigrette. it's like a sandwich salad. it was kind of amazing.

in other news: "meatballs" is an amazing movie. why don't they make them like that anymore?

in other other news: i might be going to the sean paul (!), akon (!!) and wyclef (!!!) concert at molson amphitheatre on thursday evening. hello!
